{"id":4735,"date":"2024-04-03T18:17:14","date_gmt":"2024-04-03T18:17:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/policecommissioner.net\/?p=4735"},"modified":"2024-04-03T18:54:46","modified_gmt":"2024-04-03T18:54:46","slug":"a-message-to-the-agricultural-community-from-pcc-candidate-martin-surl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/policecommissioner.net\/a-message-to-the-agricultural-community-from-pcc-candidate-martin-surl\/","title":{"rendered":"A MESSAGE TO THE AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY FROM PCC CANDIDATE MARTIN SURL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" title=\"unnamed\" src=\"https:\/\/streamable.com\/o\/54i8a8#?secret=QMycDwgdC3\" data-secret=\"QMycDwgdC3\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"568\" height=\"720\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>If elected as the next Police &amp; Crime Commissioner on 2<sup>nd<\/sup> May, I will build a stronger and enduring relationship between the Gloucestershire Police and the agricultural community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>There will always be more police in the towns and cities than in the countryside<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The reality is, that there will always be less police officers in isolated rural areas than the highly populated towns and cities, but in Gloucestershire all crime must matter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Agricultural crime needs a bespoke police response<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2018To tackle agricultural crime the police must provide a bespoke service that meets the threats you face and to do that, they must first understand what is needed.
